charcter designs

with my main and only character being a robot i went to work designing different character ideas to try and find the one i like.

layouts and machines

after deciding on the story board i created some layout designs for the factory, i wanted a conveyor belt to carry my robot and machines to work on him in stages i wanted it to look dynamic.

from the ideas i had one of them seems more entertaining and challenging, this was the one i decided on. i also decided i wanted to do it in 3D

i wasn't sure about the previous storyboard as i thought there would have been a lot of facial expressions to do and not much other animation i thought this might have been to demanding so i created other storyboard ideas.

new idea

i decided that these ideas might be a bit to demanding for the time limit i had and due to the fact that i was working on my own, i still liked the idea of a robot so i drafted some storyboards for a animation based in side a factory.  This one was about a mother of sorts making her son and sending him on his way.

 i came up with the ideas for a futuristic farm, city and factory and created some designs for them.
